LATEST MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Central Victorian Demons (now that we have your attention!!),

Welcome to season 2019 – hopefully another exciting season where the Demons continue their upward trajectory!

​

We have continued our support for the MFC in 2019, purchasing 4 x adult home game and 4 x child memberships, all of which are available for our members to use, with any user donations welcomed!

​

We have also re-joined with other supporter groups to continue our player sponsorship of Bayley Fritsch.

​

Our committee has been busy putting together our plans for 2019, with a number of functions already planned:

​

Saturday March 30, 2019: This will be our first get-together at The Foundry & Mister Bobs sports bar to watch the Geelong v Demons blockbuster. The game starts at 7.25pm. It will be a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and for our new members to meet the Group.

​

Saturday June 1, 2019: We are very excited to say that we are in discussions with the MFC regarding a Group Booking to attend the Round 11 Darwin game versus the Crows! If you are interested in joining us please let us know asap so we can ascertain our numbers.

​

Sunday July 21, 2019: This will be our main Fundraiser for 2019. Come to The Foundry & Mister Bobs for our grudge match versus the Eagles in Alice Springs. We will have our raffle and auction, raising funds to support the club in 2020. And we will want to make amends for that final... We will also be auctioning off some of our committee member Jill’s awesome MFC Scarf Rugs online,  so keep your eyes open for details on our Facebook page and the website! We expect to open the auction in the next week or so.

Saturday August 10, 2019: We are organising a bus trip to the ‘G’ for the Melb v Coll clash (Round 21, game starting at 1.45pm). We will also be selling a limited number of premium passes for reserved seats and Hassett room access. Further details will be given when bookings open.

​

We will continue to meet to watch games at The Foundry Hotel in Bendigo (Generally in a reserved area of Mister Bobs sports bar out the back). We will book tables for interstate and non-MCG Foxtel games where we are the away team. We will keep you posted before each round, and ask for RSVPs to help us secure the best table.

​

If anyone is interested the Dees are playing their first JLT game v Richmond this Sunday, March 3 in Shepparton at 4.40pm, at Deakin Reserve.
